Growth: Dense, mounded tuft. Grow in full sun, as a front edger in the perennial border, or in a rock or alpine garden. Prefers dry, infertile soils.

Characteristics: Attracts bees and butterflies. Deer resistant. Clumps spread slowly and can be divided when the centre becomes bare.

Colours:  Grass-like, dark green foliage.  Clusters of small, bright, deep pink flowers sit atop slender stalks rising above the foliage. Flowers bloom profusely in late spring, with sporadic blooms throughout the summer.
