Echinacea ‘Prairie Splendour Pink’ and ‘Prairie Splendour White’ cv’s

Growth: Upright, compact, clump-forming. Grow in the herbaceous border, cottage garden or in a meadow garden in full sun and medium to dry soil.

Characteristics: Non-stop bloom from mid-summer to fall frost. ‘Prairie Splendour Pink’ has bright magenta downward-arching petals with a prominent orange-brown cone. ‘Prairie Splendour White’ sports clear white petals and a greenish-gold cone. Foliage is a clump of lance-shaped dark green leaves, which should be divided every 3-4 years for best flower production. Drought tolerant once established. A magnet for bees, butterflies and other pollinators in summer, while the seed heads attract birds in winter. Good cut flower.
