(Smooth fleabane)

Growth: Loosely erect with upright branched stems. Native to the Canadian prairies, a perfect massed addition to mid-border planting or in the woodland garden. 

Characteristics: Long-lasting blooms, good cut flower. Self-seeding.  Blooms mid to late summer. Prefers part sun or dappled shade, average to moist soil.

Colours: Lance-shaped dark green leaves, somewhat hairy, reducing in size up the stem. Pale blue or lilac coloured daisy-like flowers with bright yellow discs
