Growth: Clumping, mounding with erect flower stems. Grow in the herbaceous border, cottage garden, in a container or as a groundcover. 

Characteristics: Fine textured blue-green to blue-silver foliage in a tidy rounded clump. Silvery seedheads appear above 1 ft (30cm) stems in late summer. One of the few zone 3 ornamental grasses that will perform well in part sun. Soil should be well-drained. Semi evergreen, this grass requires only a brief tidy-up in the spring.
