Iris germanica ‘Jane Phillips’

Growth:  Clump-forming statuesque iris for full to part sun. Grow back of sunny border or cottage garden. Prefers well-drained, moderately fertile soils.

Characteristics: Lightly fragrant. Divide clump every 3-4 years in late summer for best flowering. Plant shallowly with the upper part of the rhizome sitting on the surface of the soil.

Colours: Green sword-shaped leaves. Ruffled light blue flowers with white beards.  Blooms late spring or early summer. Re-blooming in warmer climates.
