Lilium martagon ‘Snowy Morning’

Growth: Naturalizing, clump-forming, strongly upright lily for partial sun or dappled shade. Grow back of border, in a woodland setting, in a bog garden or beside a water feature.
Prefers moist, humous-rich soil.
Characteristics: Called the turkscap lily due to its turban-shaped flowers which have backward-curving petals. Fragrant. No staking required.
Colours: Long, sturdy stems bearing many branchlets of pure white blooms with green centres and bright orange stamens. May produce up to 50 flowers per stem. Blooms mid-summer.
Size: Height 3-5’ (90-150cm), width 1-2’ (30-60cm) naturalizing to large colonies.
