Growth: Bushy, vigorous, clump-forming herbaceous perennial for part sun or dappled shade. Grow mid-border, in a woodland setting, bog garden or beside a water feature.

 Prefers humous-rich, moist to wet soils.

Characteristics: Fast-growing, spreads by rhizomes, forming colonies. Sturdy, upright stems. Long-blooming from early to late summer. Good as cut flower.

Colours: Abundant spikes of cup-shaped, yellow flowers with a red tint at their heart. Leaves are light green and serrated, in whorls around the stem.
