Growth: Aromatic herb for part sun to dappled shade. Erect habit, forming large colonies. Prefers moist to wet soils, bogs, naturalized woodland settings or beside water.
Can be controlled for size by growing in a container.
Characteristics: Fragrant, edible, useful as a pollinator.
Colours: Mid green leaves are pointed, prominently veined, toothed and slightly hairy. Very aromatic when crushed.
Lavender colored flower clusters are whorled around the stem near its top.
