Growth: Semi-upright, clump-forming. Grow in the sunny herbaceous border, cottage garden or rock garden. 

Characteristics: Attractive purple foliage and mid-late summer bloom provides interest for 5 months of the year. Performs best in full sun and average to dry soil. Drought resistant, hardy, low maintenance, attractive to bees, butterflies and hummingbirds, excellent cut flower, deer and rabbit resistant.

Colours: Domes of rosy pink flower buds open to tiny light pink, star-shaped florets in beautiful contrast to the dusky purple, fleshy leaves.
