Trillium grandiflorum
(White trillium)

Growth: Upright, clump-forming. Grow in part sun to full shade, in a woodland or naturalized setting. Prefers moist, acidic soils.

Characteristics: Moderately slow growing. Blooms in late spring.

Colours: Leaves are stalkless, mid-green and oval. White flowers rise above the leaves, cupped at first, then opening widely. Flowers fade to pink as they age.
