Growth: Upright, clump-forming with erect stems. Grow in the herbaceous border, cottage garden or in a naturalized setting. 

Characteristics: In June, a profusion of BRIGHT gold, tightly double flowers bloom on sturdy leafless stalks. Foliage grows in loose clumps of rather coarse, deeply palmate leaves. Performs well in full or part sun and humus-rich, moist soil. Former winner of the “Award of Garden Merit” by the Royal Horticultural Society. Does not self-seed. A wonderful, longlasting cut flower.
